Search in material master
Use
If you enable this feature, the Search For field can be used not only for a cross-catalog search in connected catalogs, but also to search in the material master. The search in the material master is performed either by looking up the database or using Enteprise Search, if installed.
The database lookup is done using the fields MARA-MATNR and MAKT-MAKTG.
