Definition

This indicator describes the delivery's accept approval status by the dealer.

The following statuses are available:

• "A", which means that the confirmation of the approved items is still expected by the dealer.
• "C", which means that the confirmation of the approved items and quantities has been received by the dealer.

If no confirmation is expected by the dealer, the status indicator is blank.

Use

The statuses are used in the following way:

• "A" for returns deliveries that have to be approved by the dealer using the dealer portal (SAP ICH).
• "C" when the approval is received from the dealer as an advanced shipping notification (ASN), and the delivery can be processed further .

The confirmation status influences the point in time when the delivery is automatically distributed to SAP EWM. If the confirmation is still expected, the delivery is not automatically distributed to SAP EWM.
