Definition

Batch determination in SAP ERP can be used to automatically determine a specific batch during outbound delivery creation. In a scenario together with SAP EWM batch determination within SAP ERP might not be optimal as SAP ERP does not take the SAP EWM warehouse layout into account during batch determination.

If this flag is active, automatic batch determination during outbound delivery creation runs without specific batch selection, but does only replicate the batch selection criteria to SAP EWM, where then a batch search is executed.

Dependencies

Automatic batch determination in SD activated via IMG activity Logistics General -> Batch Management-> Batch Determination and Batch Check -> Activate automatic batch determination in SD. Activate for both for sales order item and delivery item.
