Definition

Contains a user-definable name given to a multitask activity.

Multitask activities allow you to control the behavior of SAP Event Management. They are performed when rule sets or expected events are evaluated during event message processing and when event handlers are created or updated from the application system.

Each multitask activity contains one or more tasks that are performed sequentially. A task either calls a simple activity or performs another subordinate multitask activity. Parameters to be passed to the activity can be defined for each task. Each task may be performed conditionally based on the results of a prior task.
