Documentation
Definition
Indicates the confirmation status of a measurement.
You can specify in the application system which measurement results are expected for milestones and which method should be used for confirming them. The SAP Event Manager can then check if the expected measurement results can be confirmed with the actual measurement results that are sent in an event message.
When confirming an expected measurement you can distinguish between those that have been reported and confirmed in accordance with the confirmation type, those that have been reported, but not confirmed in accordance with the confirmation type, and those that cannot be confirmed due to differing units of measurement.
You can also confirm measurements that have been reported, but are unexpected.
