Definition

Used as a reference to identify items and subitems of an application object in a tracking process.

Use

To reference back an expected event from the Event Manager into the application object shipment, the identifier may contain a concatenation of logical system, application object type, shipment ID, leg ID and indicator for start/end node.

The application system is in charge of resolving this concatenated identification if necessary.

Example

Logical system ALRCLNT000, application object SHPM, shipment ID 0000109903, leg ID 0005, start location all make up the identifier ALRCLNT000SHPM00001099030005S.
