Definition
Indicates the event: it tells you what has happened, in the representation used internally in the event manager.
Event codes can user-defined and correspond to industry standard codes such as EDI 214 status codes or CLM sighting codes: these are the external event codes. External events such as X123 = pick-up arrival have to be mapped to internal event codes such as PUAR in Customizing.
