Definition

Identifies how the event expected date is set.

By default, the expected event date is set based on application system data in the milestone record that the expected event was generated from.

Optionally, the expected event date could be associated to another expected event and will be set when the associated expected event is updated.

Example

A proof-of-delivery is expected when a delivery is made to a customer. Therefore, the POD expected event would be associated to the Delivered event. See expected date rule for options on setting the related expected event.
