Definition
New forecast of the estimated time of arrival (ETA ): Current estimated arrival date and time.
A forecast is an estimation of a future event. When a shipment starts, you might forecast the estimated time of arrival at the destination. If a delay occurs or if you receive an event message that indicates that the shipment has not reached a connection point in time (based on data in the shipment#s route), you might recalculate (reforecast) the ETA.
