Contains data needed for creating joint ventures, such as venture class, JOA class, equity type, posting methods and venture type.

Use
You use this profile to create joint ventures.
To create a joint venture, in the next step enter only the profile, the partner and its equity shares, and select the operator. Also set the date from when the equity group is owner of the joint venture. The system automatically creates all other data according to the profile settings.
You can use a profile more than once.
Dependencies
You define the joint venture master data profile in Customizing for Joint Venture Accounting, by choosing Project Risk Management for Plant Engineering and Construction -> Master Data for Joint Venture Processing -> Define JV Master Data Profile.

Use
The profile is for creating joint ventures using transactions Create Joint Venture or Change Joint Venture.
The advantage is that the user does not have to enter further data. Instead the system reads the data from the profile and automatically creates the JOA and the equity group for the new joint venture.
A profile is multi-usage.
