Use
The system assigns the equity groups that are created using transactions Create Joint Venture or Change Joint Venture to this equity type. The assignment of the equity group is done with the valid-from date.
The combination of joint venture and equity type identifies the valid equity group that is owner of the joint venture for a certain period.
Dependencies
To be able to assign the equity type to the JV master data profile, you configured settings in Customizing for Joint Venture Accounting (CA-JVA) under Master Data -> Equity Types.
