Use
If you also use the cost element that you use for posting work values to post contract values, highlight the indicator.
If the cost element is only valid for entering work values and not the contract values, do not highlight the indicator.
Dependencies
Example
You have defined the following cost elements to which you wnat to assign work values:
510101 Main order
510111 Hourly wage
351101 Accumulated depreciation
You want to enter contract values for the first two cost elements. Therefore you indicate this as valid for the contract/order.
Cost element Accumulated Depreciation enables you to enter corrections for values for work completed which for example are necessary because of a reduction for an invioce. For this cost element you do not want to enter contract values, because it concerns only correction postings and not actual work completed.
