Definition
Specifies whether the chain type may be used for creating new down payment chains.
Use
Chain types, which have already been used, may not be deleted. To prevent further use of the chain type, deactivate it instead.
Dependencies
The down payment chains belonging to a chain type can easily be edited, even if the chain type has meanwhile been deactivated. However, no new down payment chains can be created which refer to a deactivated chain type.
