Documentation
Definition
An alphanumeric key for a group of reels that have the same composition or usage.
Use
The reel category in the sales order, the production order and the order determines the sequence of the reels to be checked in the reel calculation.
A reel category must also be defined for coils (with appropriate identification).
Dependencies
The reel category is defined in Customizing for Reel Calculation under Logistics - General -> Reel Calculation -> Set Plant Data (Navigation Reel Category).
