Definition

Controls whether the system copies characteristic valuations from the purchasing info record to a purchase requisition or a purchasing document.

Use

The following settings are possible:

• Characteristic values are not copied from the purchasing info record
• Characteristic values are copied; info record takes precedence
  If a characteristic is valuated in both the purchasing info record and the global item, the system copies the characteristic valuations from the purchasing info record when creating a local item.
• Characteristic values are copied; global item takes precedence
  If a characterictic is valuated in both the purchasing info record and the global item, the system copies the characteristic valuations from the global item when creating a local item.

Dependencies

When you are working with global and local items, the system always copies the characteristic valuations from the purchasing info record.
