Definition
If this field is maintained, the contract must start before this date. Start dates proposed by rules (e.g., today's date) that fall after the end of the period are changed to the period end date. It is not possible to create the contract with an invalid end date. If no contract data is available, the valid "to" date is checked against the period.
This check is only performed on header level.
