Definition
Determines the manner in which ship-and-debit claim amount is to be calculated. Calculation type is specified in the ship-and-debit agreement.
Calculation types possible in DRM scenerio are:
FIXED AMOUNT
This calculation type is indicated by letter B in this field. Distributor/ reseller gets a fixed amount for large volume resale at lower price. The agreement type in this case cannot be Down To. Here, claim amount=agreement rate.
QUANTITY DEPENDENT
This calculation type is indicated by letter C in this field. Manufacturer/ supplier compensates distributor/ reseller for lower resale price depending upon the quantity resold at lower price.
For a Down To agreement type, claim amount will be (DRM lot price - agreement rate)*quantity.
For a Down By agreement type, claim amount will be (agreement rate)*quantity.
PERCENTAGE
Manufacturer/supplier gives a rebate as a percentage of the cost of acquisition for the distributor/reseller for the material sold.
Here, claim amount will be (agreement rate)*(distrbutor's cost price for the sell-through)
