Definition

Use parallel processing technique. This technique allows to split the process in to several independent units. These independent packets/units are processed parallelly by the available servers and server processes.

Eg: If this technique is used in processing of ship and debit claims, the due list records are grouped such that the SD agreements are not across multiple packets and also that the tracking partner + MS book part number combination is not across multiple packets. This division makes the packets/units independent of each other. The benefit is the process would be faster. The drawback could be there will be multiple credit/debit memo documents for same tracking partner as each packet creates its own claim credit/debit memo requests.
