Definition

The mathematical operation specified here will be performed on value in Primary Field Name and:

Value in a field from the Communication Structure, or

A numeric, currency, or quantity constant.

The Mathematical operation is allowed if Primary Field and With Structure Field both have have data type as Date, or Currency, or Quantity.

Mathematical Operation on Date field:

If mathematical operation to be carried out between two date fields, user has to perform the mathematical operation between date in Primary Field and the Numeric Result OR Date Result, instead of between Field Name and Numeric Value as in cases of data types Currency and quantity.

That is, if the user want to find the difference between two date fields, Date 1 should be in the Primary Field Name and Date2 should be in Date Result, and the expected result of the operation should be in the Numeric Value field.

That is, the mathematical operation for data type Date will always be: Primary Field Name value +/- Numeric Value = Date Result.
