Documentation
Definition
Residence time for condition records of an application/usage combination in condition technique.
Use
For every application/usage combination, you are obliged to specify a residence time. This is specified in days and determines how much time has to have elapsed before a condition record can be archived.
Dependencies
Only condition records for which a residence time has been set up can be archived to these combinations. In this respect, the Archiving Control also serves as a registration for archiving.
Example
You have set up a residence time of 365 days for application 'CRM' and usage 'PR' (Pricing). Only conditions records that at the current point in time have been invalid for at least 365 days can be archived. If today is 20.4.2004, only records whose 'valid to' date is less than or equal to 21.4.2003 are taken into account (remember leap year!).
