Documentation
Definition
Determines the quantity relationship between a service line and a costing item.
Use
The lot size is used for costing a service line.
If you set the indicator, the lot size is one. The costing is performed for one unit of the service line. To calculate the total required quantity of a costing item, the system multiplies the quantity of the costing item by the quantity of the service line.
If you reset the indicator, the costing is performed for the lot size, which is the total quantity of the service line. The calculated quantity of the costing item is the total required quantity.
Examples
Dependencies
If you create a new service line and do not set the indicator, the system uses the default value determined in the Customizing of Bill of Services under Define Bill of Services Type.
