Definition

Each field in the identification matrix has a technical name. You use the technical name to allocate conversion rules or field comparison rules to the field.

Use

Specify the technical names of those fields that must match in order for it to be possible to uniquely identifiy a data record from the identification matrix. All fields in the identification matrix, which must match the search data transferred, are grouped in a field comparison rule.

You can use the technical name to allocate field comparison rules (for example, remove special characters) to a field, so that the field content is converted accordingly before the search or identification.
