Definition
Specifies the message code.
Use
As part of distributed materials management, messages are first collected for the goods issue and then sent collectively to an ALE distribution unit. This means that different partner profiles must be found for the same message types, although the actual partner is the same. For this purpose, the message code is used. This message code must be specified for the partner's actual logical systems, while the standard messages are sent to an ALE/ABAP port where they are collected.
