Definition

Specifies the profit center group (CO profit center standard hierarchy area) to which profit centers are assigned when they are created during the generation process.

If Profit Center Accounting is not active, this field must be left blank.

Use

Recommendation: Use the standard transaction KCH1 to create a hierarchy area called PC-PLANNED with the description Planned Profit Centers below the top node in the hierarchy.

Dependencies

The profit center group must be an existing CO profit center standard hierarchy area.

Note: The hierarchy area is assigned temporarily and is valid until a force element is set to Active status. The profit centers are assigned definitively to the defined hierarchy area when CO standard hierarchies are generated periodically (transaction /ISDFPS/ACCHIERGEN), based on the profit center group assignments in the active force element.
