Specifies the kind of design. Possible design categories are:
- Design: Standard design. You can generate only one order from this category. Standard designs are linked directly to the generated work order.
- Template: You can generate any number of orders from this category. Design templates are not linked to the generated work orders.
- As-built design: This category documents how the design was actually realized, based on feedback from the field. You can compare an as-built design with the original compatible unit design document and associated work order to analyze the accuracy of the original costing estimate and, thus, the efficiency of your design process.
