Definition
Enables you to specify whether or not you send e-mails to this particular business partner.
Use
If you leave the checkbox deselected, the system sends e-mails as a communication medium for this business partner. The system checks the Condition Configuration -> Processing Details -> Copy Recipient table in the Maintain PPF Settings Customizing activity and takes the following actions:
- If you specified the Standard Communication Method in the Document tab, it uses the communication settings in the Address tab of the business partner transaction to determine the communication medium.
- If you specified the E-mail method in the Document tab, it checks the Copy Recipient table in the Customizing activity.
The system displays the address in the Recipients table in the output management screen, and automatically selects the E-mail checkbox. If the system does not find an address, it enables but does not select the E-mail checkbox.
If you select the checkbox, you cannot send an e-mail to this specific business partner.
