Definition

Defines whether sales reports/confirmations are required for the defined material (or product proposal). Reportable materials are updated per order and can be further processed in the system. Moreover, the informant is committed to reporting the sales of all materials for which sales reports are required. The sales of non-reportable materials are requested by the informant, but these materials do not have the status that their sales require reporting. Big reportable product proposals and the resulting materials may cause performance problems. Product proposals/materials requiring sales reports should be defined with great care.
