Definition
Key to control the determination of the periods. The period key defines the number of the reporting periods contained and the period group eventually used to determine the period.
The period key with the shortest period for which sales can be reported (e.g. month) should be entered in Customizing. This period is also considered to check the reporting interval in the subsequent entry or to update the data.
