Definition
In this field, the user can store a percentage value which controls the contractually agreed modifications of the interest service. Interest variances mostly occur in connection with external reference interest rates. The reference for the basic interest rate is an external key interest rate (e.g. the discount rate). The reference interest rate can be adjusted by means of a positive or negative interest variance (interest floor + / - X %). This method of calculating the interest ensures that the interest rate always exactly follows the current money market parameters of the day by taking the current interest markup and interest markdown into account.
Example: Interest rate always 1.750 % above the valid discount rate
