Definition

Exchange rate to perform the conversion between foreign currency and local currency.

Procedure

When recording a document, the exchange rate need not be indicated unless an exchange rate deviating from the stored rate is to be applied.

Dependencies

If the option is used to manually enter both the local and the foreign currency amount when recording an item, this may result in an exchange rate deviating from the field: Exchange rate.

A user-specific declaration can be made under the processing options of accounting. This declaration provides that the exchange rate in the document header is corrected automatically when a deviating exchange rate ensues from the amounts entered in the first document item.
