Definition

CH checks and controls the tax determination by generally distinguishing between two transactions.

CH transaction: CH triggers the necessary tax characteristics

SD transaction: SD criteria like customers and materials are completely or partly used.

Case 1: CH transaction

Typical CH transactions are the disbursement, the redemption, or the payment of interest.

For the CH transaction, the country ID of the CHD and the tax classification of the CHD determine the header part, and the tax classification of the agreement determines the item part of the SD billing document.

Case 2: SD transaction controlled by SD

The typical SD transaction is the refunding on the basis of sales.

For the SD transaction, the country ID of the ship-to party and the tax classification of the ship-to party determine the header part, and the tax classification of the product determines the item part of the SD billing document.
