Definition
The status type contains the information whether the object is closed, is being remodeled, is tied to us, or free, etc. The status is derived from a Customizing table. The status depends on the Contract Handling organizational unit (CH org.). The structure of this CH org. is identical to that of the sales areas (sales organization, distribution channel, division) in SD of SAP R/3. The valid CH organizational units are administered in a Customizing table. The content of this Customizing table is a subset of the sales areas defined in SD.
