Definition
Link places provide a grouping option at the level of the agreements.
The link to agreements is shown in Customizing table /BEV3/CHCVBRILO which contains the assignment of agreements to link places. One link place can be created for each agreement. Rather than enumerating the agreements, you can then use the link places. When, for example, the system reads all movements with link place 4300 from a link type during the settlement, they comprise, if available, fixed percentage for interest, refund of accumulated interest, interest account, external as well as internal interest, i.e. all interest movements.
Hence follows that the link place is used as a filter to enable a faster selection of data. When a new rule identifier is created, the new agreement which has been generated has to be included in the table if it is relevant to settlement.
