The business hours types applicable to a catering object (for example: opening hours, weekly holiday, annual holidays, call times) are configured at client level in Customizing. The two date fields (From-/To-Date) limit the validity period of the relevant business hours type. The entry of 31-12-9999 in the To-Date field corresponds to an unlimited validity. The specified hours reflect the time span of the relevant business hours. If the time span of a business hours type does not extend throughout a particular day but is divided up over the day (business hours are interrupted due to a break, for example), you have to store a separate data record for each time interval (for example: opening hours in the morning, opening hours in the evening). If required, you can also assign an individual business hours type to the time the business hours are interrupted. To specify the characteristics of the business hours for a catering object, the user is free to define a text.
