Definition
The system starts the settlement when a BTE (Business Transaction Event) happens which is assigned to the contract.
The SD interface passes the information that specific events have taken place in the SAP standard application, and the data which have been generated following these events are made available. On the basis of these events and the resulting data, the system starts posting from the contracts.
