Definition
Tax rate in the settlement unit. The tax rate must be stored for each country and tax type. A grading can be achieved using the Alcohol field.
For example, sparkling wine with an alcohol content of up to six per cent is subject to a tax rate of just DEM per HL, whereas an alcohol content exceeding six per cent is subject to a rate of DEM 2.66/HL. Therefore the German tax type "Sparkling Wine Tax" requires two entries. In the Alcohol field, both 0.01% and 6% must be entered. The relevant tax rate can be entered in the Price field.
For recording purposes, the legal requirement has now been extended to include certain drinks that are not taxed. It is therefore possible to enter zero as the tax rate.
