Definition
Attribute: Base unit of measure to compute the contents
If the attribute is active, you can enter a basic unit of measure to compute the container contents that deviate from the base unit of measure for the material in the ExD material master (client).
Defining another reference unit to compute the contents may be useful for filled goods, if the unit in the field unit for the container contents corresponds to the unit of measure of the materials in the SAP system resulting in a 1:1 ratio.
It is also possible that in other cases the contents of the bottles on a pallet are of more importance than the contents of the pallet in liters.
