Documentation
Definition
Defines the type of customer hierarchy (e.g.: pricing, statistics).
Use
The customer hierarchy type defines the following:
- the purpose of a specific hierarchy
- the account groups that are permissible in the hierarchy
- the organizational data that are permissible in the hierarchy
Procedure
When you maintain a hierarchy, you enter the relevant hierarchy type. The default value in the core system is customer hierarchy type A (standard hierarchy. You may also define your own hierarchy types in Customizing under 'Define hierarchy types'.
