Definition
Total of materials in a document that are assigned totals category 1.
Use
The system adds all materials contained in a document which are assigned totals category 1 in the material master data and displays the total in the total field. The system calculates the material quantities according to the alternative units of measure specified in the material master data.
You can define up to four totals categories in Customizing. You can assign one of these categories to a material and enter an alternative unit of measure in the material master in the DSD Totals view.
The totals categories are available for information purposes in the order, the delivery and the shipment.
