Documentation
Definition
This duration desribes the average time required within a transportation zone to get from one customer/ship-to party to the next one.
This average duration is always determined by the system. You cannot determine it manually.
It is calcualted as follows:
total travel times from customer/ship-to party to customer/ship-to party within a transportation zone divided by the number of legs (d.h. number of customers/ship-to parties of the transportation zone minus 1).
In the dynamic transportation planning the calculated average duration is always used to determine the total duation when at least one of the customers/ship-to parties in the middle (neither the first one nor the last one in the transportation zone) is not supplied.
As soon as the fieldmanual average duration contains a value, the manually maintained value takes priority and is used instead of the calculated average duration to determine the total duration of a tour.
