Definition

With the connector, different order types of the document flow in Rental Items can be linked for the automatic copy functions by means of any characters. Yet, if the order types for the Rental order, the Rental returns, the Rental prolongation, or the Subsequent rental debit have been clearly defined, the connector must always be EMPTY!!

Example Order types:

Rent: ZM1, ZM2, ZM3, ZM4
Returns: ZR1 (for Rent ZM1, ZM2), ZR2 (for Rent ZM3, ZM4)
Prolongation: ZV1 (for all returns)
Subsequent debit: ZN1 (for all returns)

Possible solution:

The connector for the rental order types ZM1, and the returns order
type ZR1 could possibly be an 'X' and an 'Y' for ZM3, ZM4 and ZR2. The connectors for the Prolongation/Subsequent debit would have to remain empty.

How to proceed:

In case of an automatic return delivery, a joint connector for a Prolongation order could not be found for the above mentioned example. For this reason, the original Rental order will be determined first, followed by the determination of the pertinent returns order type by means of the connector of the order type.
