Definition
Loading units (LUs) are used to appraise a vehicle load during pickup and delivery. In an order entry they can be reported under delivery processing and transportation planning.
Loading units usually represent pallet positions and are generally determined for each document.
For pallets stocked with only one material, the remaining quantities form a loading unit. Otherwise, surplus quantities of a loading unit group are combined to form a loading unit.
As it is impossible to determine loading units (especially advertising material) exactly, you can overwrite calculated loading units.
