Documentation
Definition
Specifies the maximum number of snapshots that a user can have in the system.
Use
You use this field to specify the maximum number of snapshots a user can have in the system. If you leave this field blank or enter 0, the system does not restrict the number of snapshots a user can have in the system.
The system checks the maximum number of snapshots per user when you create a new snapshot, after it deletes outdated snapshots.
In case the maximum number of snapshots were to be exceeded with the new snapshot, the system aborts the creation of the new snapshot. In such a case, you have to delete another snapshot first before you can create a new snapshot.
Dependencies
The number of snapshots can additionally or alternatively be restricted by Maximum Lifespan of Snapshot (in Days).
