Documentation
Definition
Specifies the life span of a single snapshot in days.
Use
You use this field to specify the maximum number of days you want the system to store the snapshot. You can only reduce the life span of a snapshot; you cannot specify a longer life span than the maximum life span.
The system does not restrict the life span of the snapshot if you leave this field blank or enter 0.
The system deletes snapshots older than their maximum life span. The snapshots are deleted by the creation of the next snapshot or using transaction Delete Snaphots (/BCV/DEL_SSHOT).
Dependencies
The number of snapshots can additionally or alternatively be restricted by Maximum Number of Snapshots (per User).
