Use
You use this field to define the InfoCube that you want to use as a data provider within the search connector.
In BI, an InfoCube serves to save data from a particular area.
An InfoCube is constructed according to the star schema. It consists of a fact table that contains the key figures (revenue, sales quantity, for example) and several dimension tables that contain the characteristics (company code, division, for example). The dimension tables each have a generated key field and contain the characteristics in the data part. The generated key fields of all the dimensions belonging to the InfoCube form the key of the fact table.
InfoCubes are filled with data using the update rules from one or more InfoSources.
