Definition
Use
In this field, you can enter the identifier of an existing search connector field. This field is linked to the current query field. During query processing, the system passes the value of the query field to this search connector field (if type is Input) or passes the value of this search connector field to the query field (if type is Output).
If you enter the identifier for the first time or change the identifer, the system automatically fills in the following fields based on the field definition in the search connector and overwrites existing values in these fields:
- Description (Description of Query Field)
- Label (Short) ( (Short) Field Label for Query Field)
- Label (Medium) ( (Medium) Field Label for Query Field)
- Label (Long) ((Long) Field Label for Query Field)
- Field Type (Type of Query Field)
- Field Origin (Origin of Query Field)
- Data Element (Data Element of Query Field)
- Data Type (Data Type of Query Field)
- Field Length (Length of Query Field)
- Field Decimals (Decimals of Query Field)
- Conversion Exit
- Required (Query Input Field Value Required)
- Lowercase (Lowercase Letters Allowed in Query Input Field Values)
- Meaning (Meaning)
Dependencies
If you enter an identifier in this field, you also have to fill in the Origin (Origin of Query Field) field with the search connector field value and enter the internal identifier of the search connector in the Internal Search ID (Internal ID of Search Connector) field.
