Use
In this field, you specify whether the system fills this result field before or after grouping the result data.
Choose Before Grouping in the following cases:
- You have selected the In Group (Field in Group) checkbox for the current result field (that is, the field that is part of the group definition).
- The current result field is a direct or indirect input for another result field for which you have selected the In Group (Field in Group) checkbox.
In all other cases, choose After Grouping.
Dependencies
This field is required only if the following applies:
- You have activated grouping by selecting the In Group (Field in Group) checkbox for at least one result field of the query.
- You have specified that the system fills query result fields with a formula or Business Add-In (BAdI) by selecting the Formula or the Business Add-In (BAdI) value in the Filled By (Value Source of Query Result Field) field.
If you specify that the system fills more than one result field before grouping, the system determines the actual order in which the system fills these fields by their fill sequence numbers in the field Fill Seq. (Fill Sequence Number of Query Result Field). The same logic applies for the result fields that the system fills after grouping.
