Definition

Use

In this field, you can enter the type of information that is provided by the reference query field that you have entered in the Reference Field field. The following types are available:

  • Description
    The reference field provides a textual description of values of the current field.
  • Unit of Measure
    The reference field provides the unit of measure of quantity values of the current field.
  • Conversion Material
    The reference field provides the material used to determine the conversion factors for unit of measure values of the current field.
  • Currency Unit
    The reference field provides the currency unit of currency values of the current field.
  • Conversion Date
    The reference field provides the date used to determine exchange rates for the currency unit values of the current field.

Dependencies

If you specify the type of information, you also have to enter the identifier of the reference field in the Reference Field field.

Example

You have three query fields MATERIAL, STOCK_QUANTITY, and STOCK_UNIT. Field STOCK_UNIT is defined as a reference field of STOCK_QUANTITY with reference type Unit of Measure. Field MATERIAL is defined as a reference fíeld of STOCK_UNIT with reference type Conversion Material. In this setup, the result data looks like this:
