Documentation
Definition
If you do not activate this indicator, you can store market data directly in the volatility type in question.
If, on the other hand, you have activated this indicator, the volatility type in question is used as a container for other volatility types in which market data can be stored.
Use
When you activate this indicator, you can group together several volatility types into a single cluster of volatility types. If an application uses the market data API to access such a cluster, the application will assume that all of the market data is stored in this single volatility cluster.
Dependencies
Example
You could group together volatility types with quotation types "Price Volatility" and "Yield Volatility" into a single volatility cluster so that they would behave as if they were stored in a single volatility type.
