Documentation
Definition
Shows that the rate category in question uses fixed exchange rates.
Use
The fact that fixed exchange rates are used has an effect when exchange rates are calculated from currency amounts that you have input. In cases like this, the fixed rate (and not the actual rate calculated) might be used for further calculations.
If the actual rates calculated are different than the fixed rates, the system will output warning messages or error messages.
This indicator can only be used if the rate category is "Middle Rate".
If fixed rates are used, the system ignores the maximum age information defined for the rate category when it searches for exchange rates.
Dependencies
Example
The exchange rates between the euro and the former national currencies of countries in the euro area were fixed as of a specific date.
